Wes Smith Obituary
Mr. Smith was born in Greenville to the late Worthy Donald Smith and Rachel Beaman Brown. He worked at Fox Run Country Club for over 30 years. Wes was a musician at heart. He loved blue-grass music and played guitar in the Grassbackerds Band. Wes enjoyed camping and fishing; however, his greatest recreation was his dogs.
Surviving are his wife Susan Smith Moore, with her daughters, Sandy Starnes with husband Michael, and Jennifer Mann with husband Greg; his brothers, Donny Smith, Gary Smith, Josh Smith, and Andy Smith; and six grandchildren, Kayla LaPier, Jace Mann, Meadow Harmon, Tucker Starnes, Bristol Mann and Fletcher Starnes.
Memorial services will be held 12noon Friday, at Emmanuel Praise & Worship, Fountain Inn. The family will receive friends and hour prior.
