Wesley "Bubba" Childress, 76, of Goodlettsville, TN, passed away October 16, 2025. Bubba was a man of strong faith, and he was loyal to his family. He loved spending his time with his wife, children, and grandchildren. He was so proud of his three grandchildren and really enjoyed going to all their activities. Bubba found great joy playing golf, pickleball, and going to the beach. He made friends wherever he went, and he valued his friendships. He had the gift of making people laugh and feel special all the way to the end.
He is preceded by his mother, Margie Childress and sister, Lana Copeland. He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Mary Jo "JoJo" Childress; son, Paul Childress (Kim Childress), daughter, Melissa Reese (Craig Reese); grandchildren, Ellie Reese, Logan Reese, and PJ Childress; mother-in-law Mary Ann Hlad.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 19, 2025, from 11:00 am until service time at 2:00pm at Phillips-Robinson Funeral Home.
Inurnment will be held at a later date at Nashville National Cemetery
