Wesley J. Danielson

Wesley J. Danielson, 83, passed away peacefully on June 2, 2025. Born in Bu alo, New York in 1941 to Angela LoPresti of Bu alo and Josef Danielson of Nassjo, Sweden, he was the loving father of Ava Danielson Cronin and Wesley Danielson, Jr. and father-in-law to Dr. Terry Cronin, Jr.
For 59 years, he was happily married to his wonderful wife, Aila Larson Danielson. The two met in 1964 in Bu alo shortly after Aila had arrived in the US from Karlstad, Sweden.
In 1974, the family moved to Tampa. Together, Aila and Wes worked in their roo ng business "Mr. Roofer" for nearly 40 years. He was very proud of his three grandsons, Terry Cronin III of Arlington, VA, Joseph Cronin, and Daniel Cronin, both of Melbourne Fl, and his granddaughters, Rochelle and Victoria Cronin. He believed strongly in the value of a good education and was always happy to see his children and grandchildren walk across the stage to receive their diplomas, whether it was high school, college or graduate school. He was always willing and eager to help his family with projects, especially coming to the rescue after a terrible hurricane to repair his daughter's roof and deck that was damaged by a storm and building a dock for his grandsons to sh from.
He moved to Melbourne Beach in 2018 to be closer to his grandchildren and enjoy his retirement with Aila and their many pets. He enjoyed many fun times together at family events, sharing meals, and going antiquing. He loved to dance and have a good time. His sense of humor, quick smile, and frequent winks will be missed by all who knew and loved him. He also loved and admired his son-in-laws family, the Cronins, very much.
He is survived by his many cousins, family members, and friends in Bu alo, Tampa, and Melbourne.
A service will be held on Saturday, June 14 at Brownlie Maxwell Funeral home in Melbourne,Fl at 1:00 pm. In lieu of owers, donations can be made to the Brevard County Sheri 's O ce Charity, Inc./Pet Posse.
