Wesley Kaskiw Obituary
Born in Plainfield, New Jersey, Wes was a lifelong resident of Carteret and operated Kaskiw Plumbing and Heating. He later obtained his marine Captain's license, operating tugboats and barges governed by the Seafarers International Union based out of Battery Park, New York. Wes was a Port Authority ferry commissioner in Carteret and was a loving brother and uncle who will be missed by his many dear friends and relatives.
Wes was predeceased by his parents, Theodore E. and Helene Kaskiw; wife, Deborah Kaskiw as well as his brother, Theodore C. Kaskiw. Surviving are his brother, Frank B. Kaskiw with his wife Lorraine along with two nieces, Jennifer Kaskiw and Joanna Espaillat with her husband Frank.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 15, 2025 from 4pm to 7pm at CHUBENKO FUNERAL HOME, 625 Port Reading Avenue, Port Reading. At the request of the family, funeral services and interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Wesley may be made to Mental Health Association in New Jersey.
