Wesley Rosa

Wesley Rosa, a beloved son, brother, boyfriend, and friend, passed away on April 19, 2024, in Surprise, AZ. He was born on April 27, 2001, in Lancaster, PA. Wesley's unexpected departure has left a void in the hearts of all who knew him.
 As a kid, his passion for sports drove him to thrive for more. Growing up in Las Vegas, his love for sports also grew. He played high school basketball and soccer at Foothill High School. Wesley was offered the opportunity to play basketball at OUAZ where he attended. Wesley was known to shake the court, and always made sure he was known by those he was playing for, or against, either by shooting excellent 3-pointers or hustling back as soon as the turnover happened. He wasn’t just a talented and dedicated player but also a teammate on and off the court. Wesley always made sure he was there for the underdog and never allowed them to feel less than and made sure he was supporting them any way he could. He was always there, willing, and able to lift up his teammates during their darkest days which in turn made himself an above-and-beyond player.
Also throughout his life, Wesley touched the lives of many with his kindness, warmth, and genuine nature. His passion for music brought joy to those around him, and his creativity knew no bounds. Wesley had a unique ability to make everyone feel welcome and valued in his presence.
He is survived by his loving parents and siblings who will forever cherish the memories they created together. He was always out with a friend or his girlfriend, always on the move and always making the next plan. He made sure to never avoid those he loved. Whether that meant watching a movie with his family, bothering his little sister, at his girlfriend’s house, or having a friend over to play on his PlayStation. Wesley's friends will always remember him for his contagious laughter and unwavering loyalty.
Wesley was set to graduate this May with a diploma in Sports Studies. His legacy will continue to remain and live on through his family, girlfriend, and friends. Wesley’s spirit and courage will proceed with us all as he will always unite us.
Services to honor and celebrate Wesley's life will be held at the Main Chapel in Las Vegas on April 28, 2024. A viewing will take place from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM followed by a Funeral Service from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM. The address for the Main Chapel is 6200 South Eastern Avenue, Las Vegas, NV 89119, United States.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of your choice in memory of Wesley Rosa.
Wesley wasn’t just a human, he was an Angel sent in a beautiful vessel meant to save and love humans.
May Wesley's light continue to shine bright in our hearts forever. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
