Weston Paszkiewicz Obituary
Obituary published on Legacy.com by David Lee Funeral Home & Cremation Services on Nov. 21, 2025.
Weston James Paszkiewicz, age 10, was born on July 30, 2015 in Minneapolis, Minnesota to Danielle Joan Paszkiewicz (Schuette) and John James Paszkiewicz. Weston later earned the title of proud older brother to sister Devin and brother Cullen. He was baptized on October 11, 2015 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Brownton, Minnesota. Weston was a fourth grade student at Orono Intermediate School. He very much enjoyed the social aspect of school. While learning remotely, his teachers worked hard to keep Weston included and engaged with fellow classmates and friends. Weston passed away peacefully at home surrounded by the love of his family on November 18, 2025, after a courageous battle with leukemia.
Weston showed us early on that he was a curious, energetic, and adventurous kid. He had a love of hockey deeper than the game itself. Whether it was setting up the backyard rink, building hockey lockers, or taping his stick, no detail was overlooked. This translated to all aspects of his life including Lego creations, organizing his room, and woodworking projects. He loved bringing his imagination to life with anything found in the garage, especially dad's tools. Weston was the first person to offer assistance on any building project at the cabin, home or grandpa's house. He simply loved keeping his hands busy and looking for his next adventure. Countless hours were spent outdoors: fishing, camping, and tagging along on hunting trips. He always enjoyed finding new and interesting ways to utilize all the gear and gadgets he accumulated or created himself; fishing lures, camping accessories, and modifications to the boat. Weston lived life to the fullest and did it in his own special way. He taught us so much about being yourself, laughing, and enjoying the company of others. Weston was never one for the spotlight, but loved to be a part of the team and cherished all of his relationships across so many circles.
Weston's positives: the joy he brought us every day, the laughter he shared with friends and family, and the profound impact he had on the lives of so many, from close family to people he never met. You will forever be missed.
Sleep tight, we love you.
Weston is survived by his loving family: Parents Danielle and John; siblings, Devin and Cullen; grandparents, Steve and Stacy Paszkiewicz and Myron and Kim Schuette; great-grandmothers, Shirley Hartley and Joan Schmeling; many aunts, uncles, cousins, and countless friends.
