Mrs. Whitney Ann Conner Hoppes, age 36 of Shelby, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, October 19, 2023.
She is survived by her loving husband of 13 years, Nelson Hoppes of the home, two children, Avery Hoppes and Tucker Hoppes, and a cousin that she absolutely loved, Danielle Vanhoy.
Born February 4, 1987, in Cleveland County, NC, Whitney was the daughter of Jimmy Dean Conner and the late Janet Ann Byers Owens. Whitney was a loving wife, mother, and daughter. She worked as a Family Service Coordinator for LifeShare Carolina’s. Whitney enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family and friends, especially her children. Whitney was passionate about helping others. Whitney would always bring a smile to your face and she will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
A visitation will be held from 5:00pm – 7:00pm Sunday, October 22, 2023, at Cleveland Funeral Services. A funeral service will be held at 10:00am Monday, October 23, 2023, at Campfield Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Scott Huffman. A burial will follow in the church cemetery.
