Whitney Houston Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Vistoso Funeral Home on Jun. 10, 2025.
Whitney Shay Houston
Born September 24, 1987
Died June 4, 2025
Whitney was born on September 24, 1987, in Tucson, Arizona, to Robert Leslie Houston and Deborah Jo Keeler. She is survived by siblings Randy Walker, Erin Hines and Robert (Beau) Houston; aunts Betty, Hazel and Kathy Houston; cousins Jennifer Woulard, Heather (Patrick), Jordana, Cienna and Zachary Cashman; and many friends and loved ones.
Born with 9Pminus syndrome, Whitney faced the many challenges of life with courage, humor and love. She charmed everyone she met with her zest for life and her over abundance of love. Whitney lived in St. David, Arizona, until she was 5 years old. When her mother, Debbie, passed away, she came to live with her grandmother, Virginia Houston, in Tucson, Arizona.
Whitney loved singing, dancing, drawing, painting and creating. Shopping, especially for Barbies, Christmas decorations and Halloween things, was one of her favorite activities.
She inspired others to celebrate life and remember their blessings. Her love of the Savior was exemplified in her constant desire to help and befriend others.
Our precious Whitney, a beloved daughter of God, went "home home" on Wednesday, June 4, 2025, to be reunited with family and friends waiting to welcome her back.
