McKEACHIE, Wilbur B. "Wil" - Age 67, of Linden, died Thursday, October 21, 2010 at his residence. Services will be held 1:00 PM Monday, October 25, 2010 at Hope Lutheran Church, 7355 Silver Lake Rd., Linden. Rev. Art Reich will officiate. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery. Visitation will be held 1-4 & 6-8 PM Sunday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Linden Chapel, 209 E. Broad St., Linden. Those desiring may make contributions to Hope Lutheran Church Sports Equipment Fund. Wilbur was born September 10, 1943 in Holly, the son of Andrew and Florence (Millner) McKeachie. He was married to Karen Mae Hobson on October 10, 1964. Mr. McKeachie was a charter member of Hope Lutheran Church and was a past member of Linden Kiwanis. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing, bowling, camping and wintering in Lakeland, FL. Wil was a big fan of the Detroit Tigers and Pistons. He retired from General Motors Chevrolet V-8 Engine Plant with many years of service. Surviving are: wife, Karen; children, Tammy (Carlos) Garcia, Timothy (Bettina) McKeachie, Allen (Shonia) McKeachie; grandchildren, Brandon McKeachie, Betinna Garcia, Carlos "CJ" Garcia.
