Wilfred Arthur "Will" Fraser

"A life well-lived, full of laughter, love, and adventure."

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing on November 30, 2025, of Wilfred Arthur Fraser, known to most as Will. Born on September 24, 1933, to Arthur and Margaret Fraser in Clinton, Massachusetts, Will graduated from Acton High School before serving in the United States Navy with Patrol Squadron 49 at the USNS Bermuda. Though the squadron's mission during the Korean Conflict was serious, Will often joked, "they never took the island."

Will lived in Acton and Littleton, Massachusetts, before moving to New Hampshire in the late 1970s. Known for his hardworking values and entrepreneurial spirit, he founded several businesses, most notably The Gas Connection in Nashua, NH. Will loved helping his customers and leading his team, often likening himself to the coach of a baseball team. He was an avid athlete and adventurer, enjoying fast-pitch softball, downhill skiing in the winter, and boating on his beloved Grady-White sport fisher, "Mimosa," for as long as each season allowed.

Together with his wife of 31 years, Susan, Will enjoyed the rhythms of jazz at Boston hotspots like the Regattabar and Scullers. While he occasionally took time off from work for vacations, he cherished trips to Bermuda, the Caribbean, Montreal, and even a prize-winning journey to France, the result of his exceptional success in selling heating system installations.

Retirement did not slow Will down. He delighted in summers spent at his in-laws' home in New Brunswick, Canada, mornings on his Florida lanai watching tropical shorebirds and alligators, and coast-to-coast road trips visiting friends and family. Will's fun-loving nature and genuine warmth left a lasting impression on everyone who met him.

Will is survived by his loving wife, Susan, and their son, Wilfred, with whom he shared many special moments-taking him to karate, out for ice cream, playing with Hot Wheels cars, and even building a special playroom just for him, a space full of laughter and memories they shared together. He is also survived by two of his children with the late Lee, Michael and Eileen, and is reunited in peace with his daughter, Margaret "Meg," who preceded him in death.

Will's legacy continues through his many grandchildren. He shared especially close bonds with his granddaughter Jacqueline (Matt) and their daughters, Zelda and baby Zoe-whom he sadly did not have the opportunity to meet-his granddaughter Rachael and her children Nicholas, Jacob and Cara, and his grandson Stetson and his children Madison and Deacon.

Will was also preceded in death by his sister, Margaret "Peggy."

Will's life was one of dedication, joy, and love for family, friends, and community. Though he is gone, his spirit lives on in the laughter of his grandchildren, the memories of his friends, and the hearts of all who knew and loved him-truly, a life well-lived, full of laughter, love, and adventure.
