Elva Gummo Obituary
Elva was born June 24, 1933 in Parkersburg, West Virginia a daughter of Delbert Isaac & Tencie Mae Dye Mitchell.
She worked for Lawson Milk Company from 1974 to 1981, and later was the owner/operator of One Stop Superette in Hubbard from 1983-2001.
Her husband Clyde A. Gummo whom she married January 27, 1951 passed away April 10, 1994.
Elva will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by her son, Ronald L. Gummo of Punta Gorda, Florida.
Beside her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Clyde, and her brothers Carroll Mitchell, Jay Mitchell, and Ira Mitchell, and sisters Norma Mitchell, Edna Mitchell, and Violet Johnson.
There will be services held on Wednesday March 18, 2026 at 1 PM with calling hours prior to the service from 11 AM to 1 PM at Stewart-Kyle Funeral Home.
Elva will be laid to rest at Hubbard Union Cemetery.
Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the care of Stewart-Kyle Funeral Home.
