In Loving Memory of Will Latendresse
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of William Bennett "Will" Latendresse of Obion County, Tennessee, who left us too soon at the age of 34.
Will was born December 14, 1990, to Amy and Benny Latendresse of Camden, Tennessee, and grew up in Camden. He is survived by his fiancée, Kayla VanZant, his future stepson, Oliver Sanchez, and by the joy of his life, his son, Graham Akr Latendresse. Will also leaves behind, in addition to his parents, his siblings Erin Evans (Landon), Sam Latendresse and Bradi Latendresse; grandmother Irene Latendresse; and a large extended family. Will was preceded in death by his grandfather Jim Latendresse and grandparents Dr. William H. and Juanita Blackburn.
Will was a 2009 graduate of Camden Central High School. He was an avid outdoorsman and aspiring carpenter, as well as a wonderful artist who loved to draw and play guitar. He had a passion for music and gaming. He was a kid at heart and loved children, especially his nephew Louis and his youngest cousins, who always lit up when he entered the room. He will also be terribly missed by his Labrador Retriever, Sunny, who rarely left his side.
In his final act of compassion, Will left this earth a hero, choosing to donate his organs, giving the gift of life to many in need. This extraordinary gesture is a testament to his enduring legacy of love.
A memorial service will be held Friday, January 3, 2025, at Camden First United Methodist Church, 104 N. Church Ave., Camden, TN 38320, with visitation from 3 to 5 p.m. and service to follow. The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to a 529 Educational Fund for Graham Latendresse @ Ugift529.com and enter code: 99DQ3M. For information contact Oakdale Funeral Home (731) 584-4343 or a member of the family.
Rest in peace, Will. You were loved and will forever be in our hearts.
