Willa Grace Rock

Willa Grace Rock, of Aurelia, Iowa, passed away November 19, 2025 at Cherokee Regional Hospital.

Funeral services will take place Tuesday, November 25, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at Summit Evangelical Free Church in Alta. Burial will be in the Barnes Township Cemetery in Linn Grove. Visitation will be held prior to the service at 9:30 - 11:00 a.m. at the CHURCH. The Fratzke & Jensen Funeral Home in Storm Lake is in charge of the arrangements.

Willa was welcomed by parents, Joseph and Joselyn (Peterson) Rock on November 17, 2025 in Cherokee, Iowa. She was deeply loved and cherished during her earthly life. She was surrounded by family from beginning to end. Although her life was short, it was full of many beautiful moments: she was held by all her grandparents, got to meet all her cousins and got "beeped" on the nose multiple times by her big sister. Because Willa was diagnosed before birth with Trisomy 13 and a congenital heart defect, every moment with her was a miracle. Willa passed into the arms of Jesus on November 19, 2025.

She is loved and remembered by her parents, Joseph and Joselyn Rock; sister: Jubilee Rock; grandparents: John and Shelly Rock of Peterson, Iowa; Deb and Joel Peterson of Buffalo, Minnesota; great-grandparents: Jim and Margaret Rock of Peterson, Iowa; Bob and Corlyn Knudson of Marshall, Minnesota; Craig and JoAnne Peterson of Milaca, Minnesota; Don and Diane Muilenburg of Buffalo, Minnesota; aunts and uncles: Lincoln (Emily) Rock and daughter, Nora; Caleb (Morgan) Rock and son, Harlan; Lydia (Caleb) Quernemoen and children, Bence and Lona; Aliya (Sammy) Lee; numerous extended family and friends.
