Willard Eugene Turner

Willard Eugene Turner, age 88, a resident of East Prairie, died Saturday, April 26, 2025, at Mercy Southeast Hospital in Cape Girardeau, MO.
Born April 1, 1937, at East Prairie, to the late John Shelby Turner and Martha Ellen Northcutt Turner, he had lived in East Prairie his entire life and owned and operated Willard Turner's Well Water and Septic Service. He was a member of the First General Baptist Church in East Prairie.
On May 25, 1963, he married Brenda Sue Shands, who survives of the home.
Also surviving is his daughter, Vickie Tasha Turner of East Prairie; one sister, Dorothy O'Dell of Oran and a number of nieces and nephews.
In addition to his father and mother, he was preceded in death by a special son in law, Apichat Nat "Nathan" Amornmontrigul; and his brothers and sisters, Junior, Billy, Wayne Lee, Mabel, Ada, Ruth, Shirley and Nadene.
Visitation will be from 1:30 p.m. until the funeral hour at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, May 3, 2025, at the McMikle Funeral Home in Charleston. Bro. Sonny Jackson will officiate.
Interment will follow in the Dogwood Cemetery at Dogwood, MO, under the direction of the McMikle Funeral Home of Charleston.
