LEPANTO - Willard Ed "Sam" Wynn Jr., 73, of Lepanto, departed this life Wednesday, Oct. 11, 2023, in Jonesboro. He was born Jan. 21, 1950, in Tyronza, to Willard Sr. and Dimple Ennis Wynn.
Willard served his country in the United States Army for many years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his family and friends, but especially loved spending time with his little monkey, Colt.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Willard is survived by his significant other, Judy Blocker of Lepanto; two sons, Benjamin Wynn of Tyronza and Evan Wynn of Marion; one stepson, Tracy Tatum of Jonesboro; three stepdaughters, Sheila Thompson, Lisa Harbin and Christy Blocker, all of Lepanto; one brother, Donald Wynn of Counce, Tenn.; three sisters, Margaret Boon of Nashville, Ark., Carolyn Jones of Belle Glade, Fla., and Rita Wynn of Decatur, Ala.; 10 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two best friends, Terry Hatley and Joe Drace; and a host of other family members and friends.
Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Living Waters Pentecostal Church in Tyronza.
Arrangements are under the care of Delancey Funeral Home in Lepanto.
