William H. "Bill" Agle

William 'Bill' Henry Agle, 84 of Midland, died Monday morning, November 24, 2025, at Brittany Manor. He was born August 7, 1941, in Farwell, son of the late Benjamin Henry and Jennie (Bell) Agle, and attended Coleman Schools. On August 5, 1972, he married the former Donna Mae Booth in Hope at the Hope Baptist Church. Bill was a loving husband, father, and was a devout Christian man. He enjoyed his dogs, Mindy, Stormy and Sophie, his cat Hootie, was a collector of trains and enjoyed getting lost in classic western books and word finds. An avid tinkerer, Bill was quite mechanically inclined. He enjoyed board games and even built them in his retirement. Bill was a 20-year snowbird to Zephyrhills Florida and had been a member of Open-Door Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife Donna Mae Agle of Midland, son Jason (Lori) Agle of Chesaning, and daughter Nora (Ernie) Smith of Clio; grandchildren: Darren Agle, Brooklyn Agle, Michael Agle, Ana Marie Loucks, and Caitlyn Loucks; a brother George Agle of Corvallis, OR, and sister Wilma Geister Quick of Coleman. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister Winona 'Peg' Pratt.
Funeral services for Bill will take place 11 a.m. Monday, December 1, 2025, from the Ware Smith Woolever Funeral Chapel, 12100 West Wheeler Street with Pastor Jody Ellis officiating. Bill's family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday from 3-5 p.m. and again on Monday from 10 a.m. until time of the service. Interment will take place in Flint Memorial Park Cemetery.
