William Alarie Obituary
William J. Alarie, 73, of North Kingstown, passed away peacefully on December 27, 2023 at Heatherwood Nursing Home. He was the husband of the late Jacquelynne J. Alarie. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Raymond Alarie and Marguerite (Vezina) Alarie.
Mr. Alarie was a Project Manager with Hexagon Metrology for many years
until his retirement. He proudly served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War.
Bill loved classical music and enjoyed traveling and RVing with his wife.
He leaves his loving sons: Jamie C. Alarie and his wife Ellen of Palm Beach Gardens, FL and Brendan M. Alarie of West Warwick. He was the brother of Robert Alarie and the late Elaine Barrett and Raymond Alarie. He also leaves many nieces and nephews.
His graveside service with Military Honors will be held Friday, January 5, 2024 at 1:00 P.M. in Elm Grove Cemetery, Tower Hill Road, North Kingstown.
Calling Hours will be held Thursday from 4:00 to 6:00 P.M. in THE CRANSTON-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME of WICKFORD, 140 West Main Street, Wickford Village, North Kingstown.
