William Oscar Allmon, age 78 of White Pine, TN went to be with the Lord on October 18, 2024. He loved to play gospel music on the guitar, racing cars, and spending time on his farm. He was a member of Responding To His Call Ministry in Dandridge. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ed and Maudie Allmon, sisters, Bobby Sloan, Irene Clever, Ed Lee Coker, and Edna Bell Keeler. He is survived by his wife, Margaret Allmon, son, Michael (Peggy) Allmon, step-son, Billy Mooneyham, step-daughter, Jeanette Buchanan, brothers, Junior Allmon and J.R. Allmon, sisters, Willie Sue and Mary Ellen Mincy, several nieces and nephews, and special friends, David and Brenda Wilson. Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 22, 2024 at Farrar Funeral Home with Rev. Bobby Shaffer officiating. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, October 23, 2024 at Mill Springs Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Eric Norwood officiating. The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. prior to the funeral service at the funeral home.
