William Anthony Obituary
On January 22, 2026, at 8:16am William S. Anthony, Sr. passed away at NYU Langone Hospital in Mineola. William was a loving husband, father and grandfather who was a sweet soul. William is survived by his wife Rosalie of 65 years, son William S. Anthony, Jr. (Kristina), daughter's Joan, Diane (Richard), Susan and 12 grandchildren. He was always present for his family and friends. William loved traveling with his wife Rosalie and the game of golf as well as all the friends he made on his golf journeys. His greatest partner in life, business and golf was his wife, Rosalie. Williams greatest achievement besides his family in his life is his insurance business, R&W Brokerage. His business endeavor started in 1956 where he opened his own insurance agency. In 1976 he was blessed to have his wife Rosalie join him. 1980 to present he was fortunate to work with some of his children and grandchildren who will carry on his legacy. His fun-loving nature will be missed by all.
