William "Benny" Archer, age 74 of Gadsden, passed away Monday, September 01, 2025 surrounded by his family.
He was born January 21, 1951 to Jack and Audrey Archer. Benny was an avid Alabama and Nascar fan. He enjoyed deer hunting with his son and grandson and made memories doing so. Above all, he loved his grandchildren dearly.
A Private Service will be held by The Family at a Later Date.
William is survived by his daughter, Leah Archer of Gadsden; son, Lance (Lauren) Archer of Arley; brother, Jeff (Cindy) Archer of Gadsden and Randy (Susan) Archer of Florida; grandchildren, Alden (Mattie) Archer and Avery Archer; nieces and nephews, David (Jennifer) Archer, David Archer, Amy (Shane) McGee, Haley (Patrick) Cooper and Tiffany (Todd) Snead.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Audrey Archer; brothers, Jackie (Cheryl) Archer and Gary Archer; and niece, Sarah Lauren Archer.
