William Allen Archer, 88, of Seven Springs, NC and formerly of Kenbridge, VA went to be with his Lord and Savior on December 10, 2025. He was preceded in death by his parents, W. G. and Jean Archer, and his wife of 59 years, Helen Arlene Skinner Archer. He is survived by his sister, Norma Archer of Richmond and his three children, Joyce Gregg of Crewe, Susan Compton of South Hill and Mitchell Archer (Jennifer) of Seven Springs, NC; four grandchildren, Jennifer Inge (Dennis), Dean Compton, Kim Gittman (Ryan), and Will Archer; three great-grandchildren, Chaseyn, Jacob, and Isaac Inge. Mr. Archer honorably and faithfully served our country in Korea in the U.S. Army. He was a retired tractor trailer driver and lifelong mechanic. The family will receive friends at the Clarke Funeral Home in Kenbridge on Tuesday, December 16, 2025 from 10am to 12pm. Graveside funeral services immediately following at 1PM at the Crestview Memorial Park, Highway 1, LaCrosse, VA. In lieu of flowers please consider memorial donations to the Kenbridge Fire Department, P.O. Box 556, Kenbridge, VA 23944.
