What a wonderful friend and human being! I loved spending time with Bill, he was a source of true friendship and safety for me, always looking out for me. He was genuine, smart, fun, adventurous and I was so very happy to see him retire and go on some wonderful adventures. He always made me laugh. I love you Bill and I will miss you! Until we meet again, have fun in heaven. Love Tress

I'm so very thankful for the friendship I had with Bill.
He was always kind and helpful. He will forever be woven in the fibers of many of our hearts .
I know he loved the Lord, and is enjoying his eternal life there with our precious Lord and savior. Can you imagine the fish there and beautiful lakes? I'm sure the beauty there is beyond our imagination.
I'm sending much love and prayers to all of his family and friends for peace and strength in this difficult time

Back in our senior year at Moon High School, Bill and I participated in a Youth Sunday service at Sharon Presbyterian Church. I was playing the part of the "minister" and was about thirty seconds into my "sermon" when the doors are the rear of the sanctuary flew open with a bang and Bill walked in wearing the loudest golf pants anyone ever saw. As the congregation turned to see what the noise was, Bill yelled "playing through" and putted a golf ball perfectly straight up the aisle.
And the crowd went wild.
I don't think anybody laughed harder than his Mom.
After church, another friend said, "Nobody else could have pulled off that shot ... except Bill." I replied, "Nobody else would have done that skit dressed like that...except Bill. After all, it was his idea."
He was one of a kind and larger than life. And he was a Good Man!
See you again someday soon, Brother!
You are missed.

Bill was such a character. He always reminded me of Yosemite Sam in the flesh. We met serving together on Northern Hills´ Safety Team and did so for many years. Bill was one of our core team members and was nearly always there to serve. He was always quick with a story or a show and tell for his latest "toy". I will miss Bill´s dedication to our NH family, his wit and our conversations. He loved Jesus and it gives me peace to know he went home doing what he loved so much...riding a Harley.
