William Aurentz Obituary

William David Aurentz, 64, of Oakhill, passed away January 2, 2017. He was the son of the late William and Ruth. Aurentz.

He was born November 24, 1952 in Oakhill, West Virginia. William was a graduate of Collins High School class of 1971 and attended college in Montgomery. He worked 21 years as a coal miner and 20 years in insurance sales. He enjoyed watching football and CNN. Mr. Aurentz was of the Methodist Faith and was a church treasurer for 16 years.

Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife of 19 years, Barbara Aurentz of Oakhill; daughter, Allison Bria Aurentz of Virginia; aunt, Beverly Frye of Ohio; cousin, Michelle Susie of Alaska; 15 brother and sister-in-law’s and many friends.

In honoring William’s wishes he will be cremated and no services will be held at this time.

I have known Dave since high school. He was a good-hearted man who would do anything to help anyone. He will be sorely missed.
