William "Bill" Baker, was born in Plain City, Ohio, to William G. Baker and Virginia C. Hays. He was the oldest of two siblings.
Bill joined the United States Army in March 1964. His time in the Army took him around the world both by himself and with his family. After twenty-four years of honorable service, he retired at Ft. Bliss in El Paso Texas as a Chief Warrant Officer (CW2).
His next career saw him using the experience he gained in the army as a missile systems technician. He went to work for the Ratheon Corporation where he worked as a contractor, working on the patriot Air Defense System for the Saudi Arabian Government and the Saudi Army.
While stationed at Ft. Bliss in El Paso Texas, he met his wife Sheron Casserly. The wed in May of 1967. Together, they raised two children; Robert, born in 1967 and Rebecca, born in 1974. After thirty-seven years of marriage, Bill and Sharon divorced.
After Ratheon, Bill had several odd jobs and took up photography and maintained his love of technology, but above all he enjoyed travelling across the United States.
Bill is survived by his children Robert and Rebecca as well as Roberts children; William and Madison and Rebecca's daughter Nichelle and great granddaughter Adaline.
