William Z. Bayba

William Z. "Bill" Bayba, 85, of Venice, Fla., briefly of Nokomis and formerly of Albany, NY, passed away Wednesday, August 14, 2024 at Tidewell Hospice Village on the Isle Care Center, following a long illness, with his loving children by his side. The son of the late William and Anna (Borsch) Bayba and husband of the late, loving Barbara (Bobbi) Bayba for 56 years. Bill was born in Bronx, New York on November 8, 1938. For many years, Bill was in the insurance industry prior to opening his own financial investment business with his wife, Bobbi, son, Bill and daughter, Lori. He enjoyed gardening, having great success with flowers and shrubbery. Bill's passion, however, was that of deep-sea fishing. Oftentimes when someone went along just for the boat ride, he would enjoy teaching them and sharing his tips and tricks. You could say, he would have them enjoying themselves "hook, line and sinker." Bill is survived by his son Wiiliam Z. Bayba of Albany, NY; his daughters, Lori A. Bayba (Wilda Fabelo) of Bradenton, Fla. and Bobbi (Steve) Benedict of Colonie, NY. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Services will be private.
