William Beadle Obituary

Born in Pottsville April 13, 1947, he was a son of the late William O. and Margaret (Madara) Beadle Norris.
A 1966 graduate of Nativity BVM High School, he went on to serve in the US Navy.
He worked in Maintenance Systems Repair for Exxon, Marlin, before retiring from Gould's Pumps, Ashland.
William was a member of Holy Family Parish of Minersville, St. Michael the Archangel R.C.C. and the former St. Kieran RCC. He was an associate member of the Clover Fire Company.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Patricia (Noll) Beadle on April 27, 2021; an infant sister Catherine Beadle; brothers Thomas Beadle and Robert Beadle.
Surviving are two children, William C. Beadle of Pine Grove and Denise Beadle of North Carolina; 6 grandchildren, Meghan, Caitlin and Rachelle Radziewicz, Trisha Beadle and Brooklyn Cutler; 4 great grandchildren, Joshua, Millie, Miles and Jude. Brother Joseph Norris and his wife Stacy of TN; sisters Jeanne Androshick of St. Clair; Peg Naydock and her companion Roger Gillman of Hershey; nieces and nephews
A Memorial Mass will celebrated Monday, November 17, 2025 at 10:30 AM from St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church, 528 Sunbury Street, Minersville, PA 17954. Burial with military honors will be held at Schuylkill Haven Union Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Michael Memorial Fund at 538 Sunbury Street, Minersville PA 17954 or Ruth Steinert Memorial SPCA, PO Box 332, Schuylkill Haven, PA 17972.

Shipmate (USS Paterson), friend and fellow NAVY vet, some people you meet become friends and some friends become family...you, Petty Officer Beadle was that kind of friend. You gave my daughter her first watch before she was 8 yrs old and at 43 years old, she still remembers it like it was yesterday...thanks for the many memories my shipmate and friend.
