Born May 20, 1939, she was a daughter of the late Leroy and Florence (Clay) Hower.
She was a member of the former United Methodist Church in Cumbola, enjoyed doing word search puzzles and playing bingo.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Samuel H Strausser; Son Timothy Strausser; Brothers and Sister.
Surviving are 4 children Barbara Koons and her husband Robert of Pottsville; Debra Reiner and her husband Randall of Muir; Samuel Strausser and his wife Dorothy of Pottsville; Melissa Maidenford and her husband Thomas of Pottsville; 22 Grandchildren; 18 Great Grandchildren Nieces and Nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00AM Wednesday November 12, 2025 from Dutcavich Funeral Home & Cremation Care 200 Sunbury St. Minersville, PA 17954. Friends may call from 6:00-8:00 PM Tuesdayand 10:00-11:00AM Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Schuylkill Memorial Park. Visit www.dutcavich.com
