William T Belida (Bill) 68 of Greenville, NH, passed away peacefully in his sleep after a brief illness on October 30, 2024, at Dartmouth Hitchcock Jack Byrnes Hospice Center in Lebanon, NH.
He was born on February 6, 1956 in Cambridge, MA, to Yoma Hitchcock, and was raised in Winchester, MA.
He was a 1975 graduate of North East Regional Vocational School in Winchester, MA. In the late seventies, he moved to the White Mountain/Lakes Region of NH., and in 2022, relocated to Greenville with his partner.
He was an avid Patriots fan and loved football, he enjoyed sunrise fishing, and camping. Sunrise was his favorite time of day. He also enjoyed model trains, but never had the opportunity to set up his treasured collection.
Bill had his own roofing business for many years. He then earned his CDL and took to the roads in his 18-wheeler, seeing the entire country. After 10 years as a trucker, he returned to roofing, retiring in 2015.
He was predeceased by his half sister Belinda Belida, his step father, Mike Belida, his aunt Faith Hitchcock, his maternal uncles and many cousins.
Bill is survived by his mother, Yoma Hitchcock of Tampa, Fla., and his lifetime partner, Jacqueline
(Jaki) Browne, of Greenville, NH. He is also survived by his Aunt Flora Fuller of Tampa, Fla., and his cousins, Jason Fuller, Jonathan Chambers, and Ginger Haskell Miller, all of Tampa, Fla.
A memorial Mass will be held at Sacred Heart Church in Greenville, NH, at a later date to be announced shortly. A Celebration of Life will be held in the church hall, immediately following the Mass.
Flowers and/or donations to the American Cancer Society of NH or St. Vincent DePaul Food Pantry in Greenville, in Bill's honor are greatly appreciated.
