Halo CremationsWilliam S. "Bill Biggs, 78 passed away peacefully at home on November 4, 2025, leaving a legacy defined by leadership, integrity and a deep love for others. Bill was born on November 25 at Barberton Hospital in Ohio alongside his twin sister, Cathy. From the start, he lived a life rooted in connection, loyalty and purpose. Bill graduated from Barberton High School and Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.
He began his career as a science teacher and football coach at Brunswick High School, where he taught with passion and led with heart. His love for applied science later led him into manufacturing, where he worked with chemical compounds and industrial production. He finished his career as a supervisor at Bridgestone/Firestone in Akron, Ohio, overseeing the production of racing tires-a role he carried out with meticulous quality and pride.
Bill served his country with honor in the U.S. Army's 627 Artillery during the Vietnam War and was awarded the Bronze Star for distinguished leadership and bravery. He never wavered in his belief that leadership meant protecting, uplifting and serving those around you.
Bill was a devoted Mason, Shriner, 32nd degree member of the Scottish Rite and proudly served as Past Master of the Barberton Masonic Lodge #750. He led with humility, steadfast character and community at the forefront.
More than anything, Bill was a coach-on the baseball field, on the sidelines, and in everyday life. He cheered the loudest, encouraged the strongest and believed deeply in the potential of others. He never met a stranger and never passed a dog without offering a greeting or a soft-hearted grin.
He is survived by his devoted wife of 54 years, Tish; his children Brett Biggs, Molly and Chris Case, Katie and Mike Jasionowski, Betsy and Eric Patterson; his beloved grandchildren Shelby, Evie, AJ, Grant and Winston; his brother and sister-in-law John and Patricia Biggs; his brother-in-law David McNeill and 2 nieces and 3 nephews.
A celebration of Bill's life and service will be held on November 29. 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Hamilton Masonic Lodge #533, 11466 Ikea Way. Fishers. IN 46037.
