Marjorie H. Fuerman, born Lippy, 98, of North Canton passed away peacefully November 17, 2025. She was born in Uniontown, PA to the late Daniel and Sylvia (Rosing) Lippy. Marjorie graduated from Niles High School and attended Miami University where she was a member of Alpha Epsilon Phi sorority. While at Miami, she met to her future husband, Warren Fuerman, with whom she was married for over 50 years. Marjorie and Warren opened Daniels Dress Shop in New Philadelphia and later built the Monroe Mall with their brother-in-law Stan Eigner in 1974.

She was a member of the Jewish Center of Tuscarawas County and then Temple Israel in Canton where she taught Sunday school and was active in the Sisterhood. She was an avid reader participating in countless book clubs. Marjorie enjoyed playing golf and tennis at Union Country Club in Dover and spent her summers at the family cottage at Atwood Lake built by Warren in 1954.

Marjorie is preceded in death by her husband, Warren; daughter Roslyn Fuerman; sister Jeri Eigner; brother Dr. William Lippy. She is survived by her children David (Caty Gabbe) Fuerman and Ross (Nancy Bein) Fuerman, grandchildren Katie Gulley, Haichi Fuerman, Daniel (Frances Pante "Chickee") Fuerman, Francesca (Randy) Fuerman-George, and Liz (Kyle) Biggs; 3 great grandchildren Sylvie Bouttenot-Gulley, Callum Bouttenot-Gulley, and Delfina George. She was loved by her many Eigner, Lippy, and Fuerman nieces and nephews and her sister-in-law, Sandra Lippy.

The family would like to express their gratitude to Joyce Ortman for her dedicated friendship and support throughout the years. We thank Penny Toth for her friendship and loyalty of 25 years. Rabbi John Spitzer and Rabbi David Komerofsky offered her spiritual guidance at Temple Israel. Thanks to Aultman Hospice who helped to ease her transition.

Marjorie made a lasting impact with her smile and open acceptance of everyone. She will be missed by her family and friends. Her cup was always half full.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, December 14, 2025, at 3 PM at Temple Israel. Burial will take place Monday, December 15 at 10 AM at North Lawn Cemetery.

The funeral will be live streamed at www.templeisraelcanton/livestream
