William "Bill" Floyd Fox

William Floyd “Bill/Buddy” Fox, age 76, passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, January 4, 2024. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Lucy and daughter, Jennifer. Other surviving, loving family members include nieces Allyson (Troy) Kilby and Dayna Cullom, brother in law Ray Leffew, sister in law Kathryn Cullom, great nephews and niece Blake (Kristie) Harp, Zane (Amanda) Cullom, Riley Cullom, and Boone Cullom. He was preceded in death by his parents William George and Naomi (Barnes) Fox, brother Tommy Fox, sister in law Glenda Leffew, brother in law Robert Cullom, and nephew John Cullom.

Bill was born in Rockwood, Tennessee and graduated from Rockwood High School in 1965. He and Lucy moved to the Nashville area in 1967 and he spent the majority of his career in the wholesale office furniture industry and rental property business. He loved his family, the lake, and Christmas. He carried the Christmas spirit year round, never met a stranger, and genuinely gained joy from assisting others.

Services will be held Sunday, January 21, 2024 at Hendersonville Memory Gardens with visitation starting at 1:00pm and service at 2:00pm. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that donations be considered for Toys for Tots or the Dementia Society of America.
