William "Bill" Turner, age 71, of Corbin, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, December 26, 2025, at Baptist Health in Corbin.
Born in Harlan County, Bill was a son of the late Bethel and Mary Turner. He was a retired upholstery working and was a member of Eastside Tabernacle Church of God in Corbin.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Norma Jean Turner and Brenda Stephenson, and by his brothers, Clyde, Orville, and Ed Turner.
Bill is survived by his siblings, Reuben Turner, Charlie Turner, Frank Turner (Melinda), Becky Trosper (Terry), Drucilla Bolton (James), Annalee Turner, and Jean Grubb (Carson); a brother-in-law, Norman Stephenson, and by a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
Visitation will be from 12 - 2 pm on Friday, January 2, 2026, at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home, where his funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm with Rev. Kenny Johnson and Rev. Ryan Wells officiating.
Burial will follow at Cumberland Memorial Gardens in Lily, Kentucky.
