Billy Livergood, a beloved member of his family and community, passed away on Saturday, June 28, 2025, at the Ray & Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center in Paducah, Kentucky. Born on December 13, 1961, in Chicago, Illinois, Billy lived a life filled with love, music, and cherished moments with family.
A devoted individual, Billy was a man of faith, holding strong to his Baptist beliefs. His love for music was a significant part of his life. He was known for his warmth and kindness, qualities that made him a great uncle to his nieces and nephews, who adored him dearly.
Billy is survived by three brothers: Bobby Willbanks of Alabama; Brian Hawkins (Michelle) of Hopkinsville, Kentucky; and Gary Goodaker (Leslie) of Caldwell County. He is also survived by five sisters: Debbie Hancock (John) of Roseburg, Oregon; Sandra Baker (Terry) of Rossville, Georgia; Anne Daugherty of Maryville, Tennessee; Linda Cotton of Madisonville, Kentucky; and Christina Kaak (David) of Tellico Plains, Tennessee. In addition, Billy leaves behind several nieces and nephews who will carry forward his spirit and memories.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Bill Livergood and Thorma Goodaker, who loved him unconditionally and instilled in him the values he cherished throughout his life.
No services are scheduled at this time. Keeling & Goodman Funeral Home is honored to be serving the Livergood family.
