William "Bill" Boonenberg

William "Bill" Boonenberg passed away peacefully on October 26th, 2025, at 8:26 p.m., surrounded by his loving family.

Bill leaves behind his devoted wife, Lissa; his beloved daughters, Mandy (Austin) and Brooke; and his cherished grandchildren, Rylie and Liam, who brought him endless joy and laughter. He is also survived by his brother, Phillip (Joleene), and their daughter, Camille (and her son, Sage); his sisters, Pam and Camilla (Mike); and their children, Ian and Abby.

Bill spent his career in the oil and gas industry-a field he took great pride in and where he built lifelong friendships. Outside of work, Bill found joy in playing golf, watching golf tournaments, following horse racing, and keeping up with current events. He was a man who appreciated good conversation, a well-hit drive down the fairway, and the companionship of those he loved most-especially his loyal dog.

Above all, Bill treasured his family and friends. His gentle spirit, sharp wit, and steadfast love touched everyone fortunate enough to know him. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered for the warmth and strength he brought into the lives of so many.

A memorial service to celebrate Bill's life will be held on Saturday, November 1st at 2:00 p.m. at Bethany Lutheran Church. Bill's legacy of love, humor, and integrity will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know him.
