The first time I met Uncle was at my father's funeral. I was 19 at the time. I did not see him again for many years, I was well into my 50s by then. I visited him and Aunt Mary many times in Conroe. He would laugh and tell me many stories about the family. He loved my dad. I remember sitting for hours while he told stories. He sent my mom home with fig trees that we have in our back yard to this day. Much love Uncle. RIHP

Our condolences to Bill´s family and his wife Mary. Bill was a man of many talents- his love of family, friends, nature, and animals. He had a warm heart and generous soul for anyone he could assist in a time of need. I shall never be able to express in words the gratitude I have for Mary and him in assisting me to rebuild my home after Hurricane Katrina. They placed all the base boards on the first floor of my home during a time when one could not find a contractor. After two trips from Houston to New Orleans and putting in about 10 -12 full days of work Bill looked at me and said "Joanell, I did not know that you had such a big house!" We were all completely exhausted, especially Bill since he was now my main contractor with his co- worker Mary. My brother Butch who resided in California at that time had requested that he help me, and he did not hesitate to do so. Yes, I admit I had cried prior to Bill and Mary offering to complete this task. Bill was Butch and my first cousin. I recall many stories that he told and always he would reiterate these words-"You follow me". We shared an attribute of loving to talk.

I will always cherish the time we spent together when you and Mary drove hours to meet me in Houston while I was on a business trip. That meant so much to me and I felt so special. Rest in peace Bill.
Love, Your goddaughter Linda
