Bob was proud to be a Union Man with the Sheet Metal Workers Union local #36 in St. Louis. He could strike up a conversation with anyone on just about any subject.
In 1990 he married Linda (Booth) Bowling and they built a home in the country where he loved to garden and had a green thumb with flowers. Bob never met a stranger, and everyone loved to hear his funny stories.

William's memory will live on through his beloved his wife, children, grandchildren, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. He touched countless lives with his warmth, humor, and unmistakable presence. He will be deeply missed by his friends Charlie Mosteller and Jim Stevenson and many others but never forgotten. A Celebration to honor the life of Bob Bowling will be held at a later date.
