William Hazen Brown of Florahome, Florida, passed away peacefully at his home in the early morning hours of September 25, 2025. He was born in Exeter, New Hampshire, to Frank and Mary Brown, and lived a life marked by service, dedication, and quiet strength.
Mr. Brown honorably served his country for 20 years in the United States Marine Corps as an aviation electrician, completing numerous deployments with steadfast loyalty to his fellow Marines and to the nation he loved. Following his military career, he continued his commitment to public service as a police officer with the Starke Police Department, where he faithfully served the community for 15 years.
He is survived by his brothers, Rick Brown and Larry Brown; his sisters, Stephanie and Brenda; and his son, Joseph Brown. His family and friends will remember him as a man of integrity, devotion, and quiet humility.
A memorial service with full military honors will held at Jones-Gallagher Funeral Home of Keystone Heights on Saturday, October 18, 2025 at 11am.

Bill, it´s been a great ride of over 50 years, we had some great memories. We got to see much of the world, but through the years you have been a close friend. I´m going to miss our calls and meeting for lunch. Till we meet again my friend. Semper Fi my brother.
