William M. Budman Sr., 96, of Bristol passed away on Thursday, Nov. 21, 2024 at his
home.
Born February 28,1928, in Watsontown, PA. He was the son of the late Charles
Morris and Annabel (Wright) Budman. He was married to the former Charlotte Mae
(Sherry) Trate. Together they celebrated 61 years of marriage. Bill was a 1946 graduate
of Milton High School. He served in the US Navy Reserve. He was a self taught
mechanic, who worked at several automotive shops until he and Charlotte built their
own business, Budman Frame and Alignment, Inc.
Bill had many interests and hobbies. To keep himself busy in retirement he restored
old cars and entered them in antique car shows around the country, collecting many
awards along the way. He was a member of the 53~54 Buick Skylark Club, the Antique
Automobile Club of America, and the Plymouth Owners Club. He also collected and
restored Lionel trains and was a member of the Toy Train Operating Society. His house
was full of model trains, boats, and airplanes that he built. Bill had an adventurous spirit
and traveled extensively throughout the United States, British Columbia, and Canada
with his wife, children, grandchildren and anyone else who wanted to accompany him!
Bill will be greatly missed by his loving family, Pamela K. Dunn (Mike), Leslie D.
Leaman (Bob), Sherrie S. Gallagher (Stephen), Denise M. Brown, William M. Budman
Jr. (Linda), and Tina L. Rutkowski (Max). He was a fun loving grandfather of fteen
grandchildren and twenty three great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister, Charles Budman,
Richard Budman, Kay Ann Budman, and Ronald Budman.
Dad, PopPop, PopPopPop, you left us beautiful memories, your love will be our
guide, and though we cannot see you, you will remain in our hearts forever.
A Celebration of Life graveside service will be held at Harmony Cemetery in Milton,
PA on February 28, 2025.
