William “Bill” Raymond Bunt, 75, of Rittman, died March 5, 2025 at his home.
Bill was born August 25, 1949 in Wooster to Victor and Bertha {Rake} Bunt.
Bill served in the United States Navy from September of 1967 to July of 1971 where he served on the Nuclear Submarine USS Ben Franklin and the USS Barbel.
Bill retired for Morton Salt after over 30 years. He was an avid golfer and pool player and enjoyed golfing and shooting pool with his friends.
Bill will be deeply missed by his daughter Martha Rae Wise of Pennsylvania; granddaughters Charlotte Michelle Butler and Mackenzie Ramsey; brother Victor Bunt of Wooster; and sister Sandra Bowers of Wooster.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents, and sisters Betty Winn, Rosalie Yutzy, Mary Bunt, and Nancy Amstutz.
Burial will be at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery at a later date. Roberts Funeral Home-Sherwood Chapel, Wooster is assisting with arrangements. Online tributes may be made at www.RobertsFuneralHome.com.
