William Burnette Obituary
William Robert Burnette, 100, of Clanton, Alabama passed away November 9, 2025, at Russell Medical Center in Alexander City, AL.
He was born July 5, 1925, in Alabama, son of the late George W. Burnette and the late Lilly Burnette.
He was a Paper Mill Supervisor.
Surviving are his Sons, Danny Kevin Burnette, Robert Allen Burnette; Daughters, Janice B. (Dan) Payant, Kathy B. Minor; Grandchildren, Joshua Kevin Burnette, Benjamin James Burnette, Megan L. Burnette, Ashlee (Joel) Rumsey, Mandy (James) Ratliff, Daniel (Daniela) Payant, Kelley (Chad) Pearson, Ricky (Kylie) Minor, Chase (Zoe) Minor; Great-Grandchildren, Lillian Rose Burnette, Hudson Moore, Taylor (Colton) Short, Blake Rumsey, Tison Pearson, Caleigh Pearson, Hadley Kate Pearson, AnaJean Minor, Theodora Minor; Great-Great Granddaughter, Addi Short; and Brother, Vasteen Burnette.
He was preceded in death by his Wife, Lillian Dale Burnette; Father, George W. Burnette; Mother, Lilly Burnette; Brothers, Lloyd Burnette, Preston Burnette, Clarence Burnette, Lamar Burnette; Sisters, Vera Richardson, Peggy Hayes, Wilma Knight, Gladys Burnette.
Friends will be received Tuesday, November 11, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home Chapel.
Services will be held Wednesday, November 12, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Thorsby First Baptist Church.
Interment will follow in Martin Memorial Cemetery, Clanton, Alabama.
