Billy was the oldest of Mama and Daddy's children Billy, Connie, Betty, Bobby and Mike. He was my big brother. He called me Ree-Ree back then as my middle name is Marie. Growing up I thought he was the smartest person I knew. He went to Jesuit High School, majored in Physics at Loyola, played the piano, loved Classical music (and all music), and was such a creative soul. He loved to cook. He made everything an adventure! His favorite adjective was WON-der-ful and he said it with gusto! He loved to DANCE!

He taught me to ride a two-wheel bike, to skate, and he TRIED to teach me to play the piano, but I wasn't a great student. When I was about 6 or 7, another family member formed a club and everyone was invited to join Bobby, my cousins everyone EXCEPT ME! Billy saw how upset I was and pulled me aside. He said he would form an EXCLUSIVE club, just for HIM and ME! He named it The Frog Club and he made up a secret wave. We have been members all these years.

Billy was a loving son, brother, cousin, uncle, husband, father, grandfather and friend. He adored his children (Billy, Eve, Donna and Shawn) and their spouses and grandchildren and they were with him and devoted to him to the end. He was visited by his many cousins, nieces and nephews, other family members and friends these last few weeks and loved seeing everyone. It was WON-der-ful!

His wife, Carol and her children were, of course, also there with him. Carol just poured her attention and love on him, especially in these last few months. She couldn't have helped him and loved him more. He loved her so much! We ALL love her so much! He was so Blessed to have her by his side.

We will miss Billy terribly, but know we will see him again, never to part. I see him dancing with Mama to Always or some IRISH song as Daddy looks on with love. I know that God welcomed him to heaven with open arms . I love you, Billy! Ree XOXO

I was so sad to read of Billy's passing. Although I hadn't seen him for years, except lately, I always liked him so much. His steady gaze showed how sincere he was and what a good man he was. I offer my sympathy to his wife, his sister and his children.

Love, "Mizie" Licciardi
