William Joseph Canganelli, 54, of Ocala, FL, passed away on Wednesday, October 27, 2021. William was born in Parma, OH to Emilio and Margaret Canganelli. He was a graduate of Vanguard High School in 1986 were he excelled in football and baseball. He helped his father start Aluma-Tec Aluminum and later continued on as owner of Aluma-Tec Remodeling, Inc. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, playing golf, traveling, cooking and most of all spending time with his friends and family.
He was preceded in death by his father, Emilio Canganelli; grandparents, Oreste and Rosa Canganelli, William and Iris Sabo.
William is survived by his wife of 20 years, Amy Canganelli; children, Alexander and Ashlynn Canganelli; Mother, Margaret Canganelli; Sister, Cathy (Andy) Blake; Nephews, Justin Bland and Tucker Smith; Niece, Caitlin Bland; Sister-n-law Jennifer (Wayne) Smith, Aubrey Fisher; Brother-n-law, Travis Bland; Aunt, Kathleen Schildknecht; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and close personal friends.
A Memorial will be held at Blessed Trinity Catholic Church in Ocala on Tuesday, November 16 at 4pm with a celebration of life reception following at Ocala/Marion County Realtors Association.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in honor of Bill Canganelli to www.sharetheloveocala.com/donate-2, children and teen camp and mentoring program for abused youth, or checks can be made to Share the Love Ocala, memo "Bill Canganelli Memorial" and mailed to 33 Banyan Course, Ocala, FL 34472.
