William R. Cannon
Our loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend, William Ronnie Cannon, 79, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by family at his home in Brigham City, Utah.
He was born on November 11, 1946 in Hopkinsville, Kentucky, a son of Murray and Estine Isom Cannon.
Bill graduated from Christian County High School in 1964. He served in the US Air Force.
Bill married his sweetheart Sherel Kendall on August 19, 1967 in Ogden, Utah. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Ogden Temple.
He retired from Hill Air Force Base as an aircraft mechanic supervisor for more than 35 years.
Bill was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and was an active member of the Brigham City 11th Ward.
Bill loved fishing with his wife, Sherel at Tony Groves, he also liked hunting, camping, working on cars and being with his family.
Surviving is his wife, Sherel; four children: Bryan Cannon; Kevin Cannon; Sheri (Michael) Robley; Heidi Cannon; 14 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one grandson, Tyler Simmons, two sisters, Betty Nichols and Arlene Outlaw.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 13, 2026 at 11:00 am at Brigham City 11th Ward, 506 S 200 E., Brigham City, Utah.
Viewings will be held at the church on Thursday, February 12, 2026 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm and Friday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m.
Interment will be in the Brigham City Cemetery, where military honors will be accorded by the Combined Veterans of Box Elder County.
