William Capolupo Obituary

William Capolupo
U.S. Army veteran, William "Bill" R. Capolupo, 75, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 23, 2026, at the Pines at Bristol.
Born in Waterbury, on February 17, 1950, he was the son of the late Nicholas and Mary (McGrath) Capolupo. He was a proud U.S. Army veteran that served during the Vietnam War.
Bill enjoyed watching NASCAR. Darell Waltrip and Tony Stewart were his favorite drivers. He also enjoyed fishing and was an avid fan of the Boston Red Sox.
Bill is survived by his daughter, Tracey Capolupo; his son, William J. Capolupo; his granddaughter, Krystina Capolupo; his brother, John Capolupo; his sister, Patricia Zemaitis, and her husband, Al; two sisters-in-law, Deborah Capolupo and Patricia Tierney; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his wife, Diane (Tierney) Capolupo, Bill was predeceased by his sisters, Virginia Capolupo, Mary-Beth Sanford; his brother, Nicholas Capolupo; and sister-in-law, Christine Capolupo.
