William Chechel Obituary
Bill was the loving husband of Janet M. (Yoniak) Chechel. They celebrated their 48th Wedding Anniversary on March 31st.
He was born in Staten Island, NY on March 27, 1951, son of the late Michael and Shirley (Zimmerman) Chechel.
Bill owned and operated Lee Myles Transmissions in Allentown, PA for many years, until retiring.
He was a member of Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Gilbert, Pa.
In his leisure time he loved working in his yard. He loved to grab his fishing pole and spend time fishing.
We have been blessed with the presence of William in our lives. He will be deeply missed by his loving wife: Janet, his children: William "Bill" Chechel and wife Dawn of Kunkletown, PA and Laura Chechel of Saylorsburg, Pa.
He was the loving grandfather to: William "Billy" Chechel, Megan Chechel, Jacob Chechel, Sarah Chechel, Luke Chechel, Joseph Chechel, James Wilson and Carlos Hernandez.
Funeral services will be held 7:30 PM, Tuesday, July 8, 2025, at Gower Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 1426 Route 209, Gilbert, Pa.
Family and friends are welcome to offer condolences on Tuesday, July 8, 2025, from 6 pm, Tuesday, July 8th until time of service at the funeral home.
Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
