William Chicco Obituary
Born to the late William J., Sr. and Gertrude M. Chicco (Cotton) on April 16th, 1956 in Cambridge, MA.
Bill was a true outdoorsman through and through, whether fishing, hunting or camping he loved being in nature. Dependable, kind, and loyal he was a great friend who would do anything for anyone in need.
After graduating from Newton North, he went on to attend Wentworth Institute later becoming a manager in the Shipping and Receiving Department at Nippon Express for well over 2 decades.
Bill loved traveling to Nashville, Tennessee and some of his most memorable moments were spent listening to Country Music at The Grand Old Opry and Skiing in Switzerland. In his spare time, you could find him in the kitchen putting his culinary gifts to work, leisurely relaxing beside the lake in his favorite lawn chair or watching sports. As an avid Boston sports fan, he enjoyed watching baseball, hockey and football; however, spending time with his family brought him the most joy.
Bill is survived by his beloved sister Diane Woodson of Lowell, MA., his niece, Sandra Sullivan and her husband Charles (Chuck), his nephew, Joseph Maniachi, Jr. and his wife Laurie, 3 great-nieces, Shannon Sullivan, Alison Sullivan and Alexis Maniachi and 1 great-nephew Robert Maniachi. In addition, other relatives and friends all whom he loved dearly.
The family has asked that funeral attendees please wear purple in Bill's loving memory. Visiting hrs. will be held on Tuesday, July 16th from 5 PM to 7 PM in The Mary Catherine Chapel of Brasco and Sons Memorial Chapels, located 773 Moody Street Waltham, MA. A Celebration of Life Service for Bill will begin at 6:30 PM. Parking Attendants will be on duty.

In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations in Bill's loving memory may be made to The American Cancer Society at www.cancer.org/donate.
