Sorry I just saw Bill had passed. I was on the USS Patterson with Bill and he taught me so much. We spent a lot of time off the ship together in PR and in Philly. He even let me ride a few nights in his police car with him. He was a true friend and always looked out and helped me as a young man. We always had a great time together wisecracking. I will surely miss him. Rest in peace Bill.

I have fond memories of spending time with Bill in the Duffy String Band and his A's softball team in the 70's. He was always kind and fun to hang around with. I was sadden to hear of his passing and I hope his family survives his passing. Plus always remember his smile.

I just learned of Bill´s passing today and was saddened by the news. I really looked forward every summer to sitting by the pool with Bill and to our conversations. Bill was never dull, always funny and always interesting. He will be missed. Rest easy Bill.

May he rest in eternal peace and glory. May all the mourners be comforted. May the memory of his life be a blessing and an inspiration in our lives. He and I both served with the Seabees in Vietnam, but at different times. I will miss seeing him at the meetings of AMVETS Post 100 and Fleet Reserve Association Branch One.

Dear Lisa,
You know how incredibly sorry I am for your loss. Seeing you and your Dad was such a joy for me, as I have a soft spot for Daddy/Daughter relationships. Yours was definitely special. You meant the entire world to him and he demonstrated it in every way. May you have great comfort in all of your memories with him and know that he lives on in you, and Indie. My condolences to you, your brother, and the rest of your family and all of the lives he touched. Personally, I will miss our conversations and his connection to my Dad. I´m so happy that I had a friendship with him for over 20 years - all because he approached me because he recognized that I looked like my Dad.
Much love and sincere condolences, Gayle Escobar & family

Such a nice man. I won´t forget our talks waiting for the club doors to open every weekend. Sometimes we would try to beat one another in line at Dunkin´ so we could pay for each other. Prayers to his family especially Lisa who was a wonderful daughter to him. Rest in peace Bill you will be missed.
