William Charles Clark, age 91, passed away on Wednesday, June 12, 2024, at Sugar Creek Senior Living Community in Brownsville, TN. Funeral Services will be conducted on Friday, June 14, 2024, at 2:00 PM at the Lea & Simmons Funeral Home in Brownsville, TN with Bro. Mike Young officiating. Burial will follow at the Zion Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday, June 14, 2024, from 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM at the Lea & Simmons Funeral Home. 

William was born on July 26, 1932, in Ripley, MS to Hubert and Mary Hubbard Clark. He worked as a truck driver for Sears. He loved being outdoors and working in his garden. He enjoyed life, and he loved his family and found fulfillment spending time with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his two sons, L. C. Clark (Mary) of Peagram, TN and Benny Clark of MS; two daughters, Becky Cole (Justin) of Brownsville, TN and Bonnie Jones (Jimmy) of Georgia; one sister, Sue Farris of Collierville, TN; eight grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Hubert Clark and Mary Hubbard Clark, and one great-grandchild.

 Pallbearers for the service will be Justin Cole, Sammy Fullbright, James Hancock, Anthony Clark, Tom Pinner, and Zach Pinner.  The family has requested memorials be made to the charity of the donor’s choice. All arrangements and services are under the direction of the Lea & Simmons Funeral Home in Brownsville, TN.
