William "Billy" Burnard Clements, Jr. passed away peacefully on March 2, 2026, at Transitions LifeCare in Raleigh due to complications following a stroke.
William was born on February 22, 1947, in Crewe, VA to William Burnard Clements and Edna Ison Clements.
After high school he graduated from North Carolina Wesleyan University with a business administration degree in social work. He retired from the North Carolina Prison System as a social worker.
He was preceded in death by his father, William Burnard Clements; brother, Kenny Clements; and nephew, Randy Clements.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Susan Adams Clements; mother, Edna Ison Clements; Rent-a-Kids, DeeAnn Suber, her husband John and their son Brady; Rodney Jones and his wife Carey Ann and their children Ava and Aston; and nephew Jeff Clements and family.
The family would like to express gratitude to special friends that have visited, called, or helped in any way during these difficult times.
As per the family's wishes, there will be no services.
