William Paul Clemons, affectionately known to all as Billy, passed away on October 20, 2025, at the age of 44. Born on June 24, 1981, in Knox, Indiana, Billy was a lifelong resident of his beloved hometown where he also took his final breath.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Paulette I. Clemons, and father, Tony L. Clemons Sr.
Billy was a devoted father to his daughter, Kadience Iowa Clemons, who was the light of his life. His love for her was evident in every action, every sacrifice, and every moment he dedicated to her upbringing. His KK. The two were inseparable; you rarely saw one without the other. Whether they were working on cars, going for drives, or just sitting outside talking, Billy and KK shared a bond that could never be broken. He was more than a dad; he was her best friend, her hero, and her heart.
He is survived by a brother, Tony Lee Clemons Jr. (TJ), and a sister, Traci Mae Jacobs, with whom he shared countless cherished memories. He also leaves behind many Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, Family members, and Friends who will forever miss him dearly.
He was a man of many talents, best known for his exceptional skills as a tattoo artist. His work, marked by creativity and precision, will remain a testament to his talent and will be cherished by those who were fortunate enough to carry a piece of his legacy on their skin.
Billy Clemons was known to just about everyone in town. He was a man who could fix just about anything with a wrench and a smile. He had a lifelong passion for working on cars; if your tire went flat or your engine started knocking, you could bet he'd be the first one to show up, tools in hand and no shoes on his feet.
Billy never cared much for fancy things. He was proud to be a good-hearted hillbilly through and through. Barefoot and grinning, he brought laughter and kindness wherever he went. Everyone who met him had a story about how he helped them, made them laugh, or just made their day a little bit better.
As we say goodbye to Billy, we celebrate a life that, though cut short, was lived to the fullest. His absence leaves a void in the hearts of those who loved him, but his spirit will continue to inspire us every day. Billy's memory will be cherished and kept alive through the stories, art, and love he left behind. Rest in peace, Billy; you have left an indelible mark on this world, and you will not be forgotten.
Cremation will take place. Graceland Cemetery 1505 E. Morthland Dr., Valparaiso, (219) 462-3511 is caring for the arrangements.
